Nelius Rademan is as Foto24 se Fotograaf van die Jaar aangewys. Cornel van Heerden en Theana Breugem is die naaswenners.

Lulama Zenzile het die Foto van die Jaar-toekenning ingepalm vir sy foto van Shaneen Ayaz wie se stalletjie geplunder is tydens munisipale stakings in Kaapstad.

Die pryse is tydens die Foto24-jaareindfunksie by Mediapark in Johannesburg deur Tim du Plessis (hoof van Afrikaanse koerante) oorhandig.

Die beoordeelaars vir die kompetisie was Joyrene Kramer (fotoredakteur van Beeld), Andries Gouws (hoof van grafiese ontwerp by Rapport), Albert Weideman (nagnuusredakteur van Beeld) en John Hogg (fotoredakteur van The Times).

 

Nelius Rademan is Foto24 Photographer of the Year. Cornel van Heerden and Theana Breugem came 2nd and 3rd respectively in these awards.

Photo of the Year was awarded to Lulama Zenzile for his picture of Shaneen Ayaz whose stall was looted during the municipal strikes in Cape Town.

The prizes was awarded by Tim du Plessis (Head of Afrikaans Newspapers) during Foto24’s year end function.

The judges for the competition was Joyerene Kramer (Beeld photo editor), Andries Gouws (Rapport art director), Albert Weideman (Beeld night news editor) and John Hogg (The Times photo editor)
